American Medical Equipment started in 2005 with a dream: To ensure that everyone with mobility issues could access the equipment they need to manage their disability. With more and more Americans becoming disabled each day, this is an issue that is not going away, and one we remain as passionate about today, 20 years later, as we were when we started the company.
American Medical Equipment is proud to be woman- and minority-owned and -operated, and is proud to be fully accredited by the Medicare and Community Health Accreditation Program.
Our Mission
The mission at American Medical Equipment is to be the leading area provider of complex rehab wheelchairs by demonstrating our commitment ot excellence and customer service as a reliable partner ot the health care community. We want to be the name to know when it comes to getting a new wheelchair or having your current one serviced. Currently we are licensed in five states, with rapid expansion goals on the horizon.
